Rules and Regulations for Candidates Applying to Trades by Tony Scholarship Fund.

The HVAC Scholarship Fund is established to support and encourage individuals pursuing a career in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) by providing financial assistance for educational programs or certifications.

To be considered for this scholarship, applicants must meet all of the following criteria:
Age & Citizenship
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be a legal resident or citizen of the United States.
Educational Intent
Must be enrolled in or accepted to an accredited HVAC training program, trade school, or technical college.
Proof of enrollment or acceptance letter is required at the time of application.
Academic Standing
High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum GPA of 2.5 (on a 4.0 scale) for those with recent academic history.
Career Goals
Must demonstrate genuine interest in pursuing a career in the HVAC industry through a written personal statement.
Financial Need
While not the sole deciding factor, financial need will be considered. Applicants may be asked to provide documentation.

Completed Application Form
Personal Statement (500–1000 words) addressing:
Why you are pursuing a career in HVAC
How this scholarship will impact your goals
Any relevant experience or challenges you’ve overcome
One Letter of Recommendation
Preferably from a teacher, employer, or mentor in a relevant trade or academic field.
Resume (Optional but recommended)
Proof of Enrollment or Acceptance
High school Transcript or GED Certificate

All eligible applications will be reviewed by the Scholarship Committee.
Selection is based on merit, personal motivation, alignment with HVAC industry goals and financial need.
Finalists may be invited to a brief interview

The scholarship amount and number of recipients vary annually depending on available funds and are subject to change at the discretion of the scholarship committee
Funds are paid directly to the institution or training provider unless otherwise specified.

Scholarship recipients must maintain satisfactory academic or program performance
Funds must be used for tuition, books, supplies or related educational expenses.
If a recipient withdraws from the program, unused funds must be returned.
Previous recipients may apply again but must submit a new application and demonstrate continued eligibility.
